The first session is a conversation, not an evaluation. We'll talk about what's bringing you in, what you've already tried, and what you're hoping to accomplish. I'll ask questions to understand your situation more fully, and you'll have the chance to get a feel for whether my approach is a good fit. By the end, we'll have a clearer picture of what the work might look like and whether moving forward makes sense for both of us.
No. Many people call because they know something isn't working — they just can't quite name it yet. You don't need to arrive with a clear agenda. That's part of what the initial consultation is for.
The free consultation is a 15-minute phone call. We'll talk briefly about what you're dealing with, what you're looking for, and whether my practice is a good fit for your situation. There is no pressure and no obligation — it's just a conversation to help you decide whether to move forward.
That depends on what you're working on and how you respond to the process. Some clients accomplish what they need in eight to twelve sessions. Others work with me for a year or longer, especially when they're dealing with deeper patterns, significant relationship issues, or multiple areas of focus. I'll give you my honest assessment early on and revisit it as we go.
